Pam is a senior consultant for Poertner Consulting Group in Des Moines, Iowa. She delivers Crucial Conversations and Crucial Confrontations workshops on a contract basis.
Pam began her career in Learning & Development at Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Group. In 2003, she left Wells Fargo on a full time basis to focus on her family and to expand her range of services as an independent consultant. In addition to her certification to deliver Crucial Conversations and Crucial Confrontations, Pam has experience facilitating a variety of other leadership and management programs in corporate and nonprofit environments.
Pam and her husband, Scott, live in Urbandale with their three young children Drew, Lilyan and Avery. Pam loves her opportunity to work with people from many backgrounds and walks of life and truly enjoys learning about how she can contribute to their success in their work life, as well as personal life. Pam is also very involved with many of the youth at her church, leading a group called Leaders on the Horizon. This program focuses on teaching leadership qualities and skills to youth, which they use throughout their spiritual and professional lives.
