Stephanie is Marketing Coordinator for Poertner Consulting Group. She is responsible for the execution of social media (including blogs, Facebook and Linkedin), database management of 6,000 clients and prospects utilizing a customized software program, and communication with clients and prospects through newsletters and blog posts.
Stephanie is a recent graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Hotel Restaurant Management. She also has an Associate of Arts degree from Des Moines Area Community College with an emphasis in Photography and Graphic Design. After taking a year off to pursue her love of photography by starting her own photography business in 2009, Stephanie has been gaining real world experience by working in different industries such as restaurant management, nonprofits and social media marketing.
Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys traveling on weekend getaways, whether that is to Superior, Wisconsin or New York City. She enjoys supporting her better half at his DJ events and listening to him produce music from their home studio. Stephanie also enjoys being active in the community by being involved with volunteer services, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, and Young Professionals Connection. She is a proud alumna of the Omega chapter of Gamma Phi Beta and enjoys visiting Iowa State and seeing all the new members of her sorority sharing in the old traditions.
